Idle System, Inc. built the Rootflux – Idle Game app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Idle System, Inc. at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Rootflux – Idle Game unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

Rootflux does not require you to create an account or to provide directly identifying personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number in order to play. To operate and improve the game, the app and the third-party services listed below may collect the following information:

  • A randomly generated, app-specific identifier — an anonymous ID we create on your device to group analytics. It is not your name and is not linked to any account.
  • Gameplay and progression data — for example how far you have progressed, session length and frequency, total play time, app version, and your device’s platform/type. We use this to understand engagement and to balance the game.
  • Advertising data — when you choose to watch a rewarded ad, our ad provider (Google AdMob) collects your device’s advertising identifier and related device, network, and ad-interaction information to deliver and measure ads.
  • Purchase data — if you buy the optional in-app product, the purchase is processed by the platform store (Google Play or the Apple App Store). We receive only the product identifier and whether you own it; we never receive your payment details.
  • Optional cloud save and sign-in — if you enable cloud save, the game signs you in anonymously (an anonymous identifier only — no email or password) and backs up your game progress to our cloud provider. This stays off until you turn it on.
  • Push notifications — to send occasional update announcements, the app registers a push token with the messaging provider and may record your device’s language preference so messages are sent in the right language. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera. As noted below, the advertising identifier handled by our ad provider can in some cases be used to identify your device.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use device-level identifiers (for example, an advertising identifier) to collect information and improve their services.

We value your trust in using our Service, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. Data transmitted by the app is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Data Retention and Deletion

Anonymous analytics and any cloud save are retained while the app is in use. You can delete your data at any time: clearing the app’s data, or using the in-app reset/wipe option, removes your local data and any cloud save tied to your anonymous identifier. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
